I looked up, and it’s already December!  Wow, the year really has flown by.  So much has happened in a short period of time.  A few months ago, Jerry and I decide to start looking for a new house.  No real reason, we just thought, ‘why not?’  We ended up selling our house in Marietta and moving to a home in Woodstock, which we LOVE.  We did the unconventional thing and bought a new home before we sold our old home.  I had a friend ask if we were that confidant that our old home would sell, and I thought to myself, ‘I guess we are!’  The funny thing is, we purchased our new home and sold our old home right before Thanksgiving.  The process was so smooth, we could hardly believe it.  I guess that’s how it goes when things are mean to be, and believing in that can give us confidence that things will work out.

Confidence is something every human being needs.  Not being overly proud or vain, but just confidant in ourselves.  When we feel good about who we are on the inside and out, that confidence comes a little easier.  Attending my Oncology Training seminar in Chicago was truly an eye-opening experience.  It was humbling to learn about a disease like cancer that has become so common but yet is so complex.  It was amazing to meet people that had been diagnosed, fought, and have survived.  It was gratifying to know that I can do something as little-yet-significant as making someone feel better with the skills and knowledge I have learned.

Starting next month, Sweet Life Skincare will be offering a new facial on the menu.  This treatment is especially for clients that have been affected by cancer and whose skin is in need of some TLC.  This treatment will feature a new product specifically tailored for dry and irritated skin, which is often a side effect of cancer treatment.  This local product line will also be free of any harmful chemicals or preservatives to protect compromised skin.  The purpose of this new highly specialized treatment is to accelerate skin healing, hydrate, and moisturize.  If you or someone you know has been affected by cancer and need some extra love for their skin, you know where to go 🙂
Lots of love and happiness in this Holiday Season from our home to yours,
